SHOW OR PET?

The question most often asked by prospective owners is how we decide which puppies are "show dogs" and which are "pets".  Puppies are sold on either full or limited registration. If a puppy is sold on "limited registration", the official registration papers from the American Kennel Club (AKC) will indicate this, which means that no offspring can ever be registered.   "Full registration" means that this puppy's offspring CAN be registered with AKC.

Our breeding program is based on the total Havanese, and geared towards producing a sound dog in both structure and temperament. Ideally, we also strive to produce a dog that follows the AKC breed standard closely enough to be competitive in the conformation show ring.
